Portraits in the Park

• Two weekends ago I shot some family portraits in Balboa Park. The park is one of my favorite locations to shoot because of the variety of backgrounds and scenery that can really add to a photo. There are so many different elements – from architecture to floral and they are all great. We shot in the late afternoon and so the light was starting to get really nice, in addition to the fact that there were some clouds in the sky.

  We had a lot of fun and the park gave us a more Fall feeling than some of the other locations in the area. I love shooting at the beach, but it just doesn’t cut it when you’re going for any other look than ‘Summer’.
